The Church was built at the beginning of the 16th century over a votive chapel dedicated to the Virgin, following an apparition of the Virgin Mary. The central nave and the side aisles can be visited without barriers; the church is furnished with wooden benches (seat: 46 cm).
Passing through a single door (98 cm wide) you enter the left side aisle where you can find the sculptural complex called "Caragnon da Bosla" made up of statues of natural size, representing the Nativity and the deposition of Jesus.

The Marian painting dominating the main altar dates back to the mid-15th century. To reach the altar, it is necessary to overcome 2 steps (16 cm each); alternatively, on both sides, a ramp is available (running slope 150 cm, slope of 6%). Following the side corridor and crossing a passageway (89 cm wide) you reach the apse: in the place where the Marian apparition took place, now there is the statue of the Madonna della Bozzola with the Child.
On the right side of the Altar, after passing a swing door (92 cm wide), you can visit the “Cappella dell'Adorazione”.
The Sacristy can be accessed from the left aisle by passing a door (92 cm wide).
