Entrance
The municipal park of Luine develops on the hill above Darfo Boario, bounded by the rivers Oglio and Dezzo. After passing a manual double leaf gate (94 cm wide each), a path with paved surface of about 30 meters (slope of 11%) takes you into the park.

Reception
The visitor centre, located about 100 meters from the entrance, is the starting point of the three itineraries in the park. The visitor centre can be accessed via a hinged door (90 cm wide), the centre has two rooms with informative and descriptive panels (100 cm high above the ground); the rooms are connected to each other by a ramp (slope of 10%, length: 60 cm) and a passageway (98 cm wide).

In the first room there is an area for the projection of videos in Italian (82 cm high above the floor).

Getting around
The park offers three different itineraries (identified as yellow, red and green) with rock engravings depicting aspects of spirituality and moments of the daily life of the ancient inhabitants of the Valley. The recommended route for visitors with disabilities is the yellow one, while the red and green paths are difficult for people with reduced mobility due to slopes and the kind of paving of the path.

Yellow Path
The Yellow path, about 300 meters long, has a paving of ground with a central part made of interlocking blocks (2 meter wide) that is very compact. The visible rock engravings in this area are among the first discovered and are of great importance for the rock art of Luine. Rock 14, entirely covered with figures of weapons, has an informative and descriptive panel in relief and in Braille (80 cm high above the ground). Along the path there are two other informative and descriptive panels in Braille and in relief and a picnic area with a table (clear space below: 69 cm high) and two benches (seat height: 50 cm).

Orientation signage
In the park, there are directional arrows with high contrast and large lettering (at least 7 cm).

Toilet facilities
The disabled toilet is located near the visitor centre and has the following features:

  • vestibule with hinged door (80 cm wide)
  • wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 141 cm)
  • toilet with hinged door (80 cm wide)
  • floor-standing toilet (clear space: in front 85 cm; on the right side 22 cm; on the left side 102 cm; horizontal handlebar on the left side of the toilet and handrail on the right side)
  • high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.
