How to Get There by Public Transport

Parking
Two parking spaces reserved for CUDE disabled pass holders are located 150 meters from the park. The path from the parking lot to the entrance is paved with compact porphyry and is barrier-free.

Entrance
The entrance is step-free with a wide gate.

Elevator
The elevator connects floors -1, 0, 1, and 2 with the following features:

  • Hinged door (width 90 cm)
  • Cabin interior: 130 x 160 cm
  • Internal button panel maximum height: 140 cm with Braille and raised lettering
  • Emergency bell

Exhibition Path

The exhibition path starts on the -1 floor, where the Republican Sanctuary is located. It can be accessed by overcoming 7 steps or using the elevator. An introductory video with simple captions, without audio description, illustrating the timeline of the archaeological site is shown at the beginning.
The next room, displaying ancient tools and historical flooring, is accessed through a wide panic door (width 100 cm). This room is on two levels, connected by an electric platform that overcomes 9 steps (height 19 cm) with handrails on both sides at a height of 110 cm. The exhibition path continues without further obstacles. The exit is through another panic door (width 100 cm), leading to a corridor that returns to the entrance floor.
The Capitolium Temple is accessed via the elevator. Entry is through a wide hinged door, and the path is obstacle-free. The doors are wide and relatively heavy, and staff assist with opening them upon visitors' arrival.
A person in a wheelchair can navigate the exhibition path without encountering obstacles.

Restrooms
The accessible restrooms are located on the 2nd floor, reachable by elevator, and have the following features:

  • anteroom with hinged door (width 83 cm)
  • suspended sinks (height 79 cm, front space 150 cm)
  • bathroom with hinged door (width 84 cm)
  • suspended sink (height 79 cm, front space 80 cm)
  • suspended toilet (height 48 cm, front space 80 cm, left side space 60 cm, right side space 25 cm), grab bars on both sides
  • sufficient maneuvering space for a wheelchair

Emergency Exits
Emergency routes are signposted, and the alarm system is acoustic. Fire alarm systems with acoustic alerts are present.
