Internal Spaces
The Duomo was built between 1586 and 1611. The facade is in Baroque style, while the interior is one of the finest examples of late Brescian Renaissance. Inside, the works of Andrea Celesti stand out, including the "Resurrection" and a pictorial cycle dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene, while the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament houses "The Last Supper," a remarkable painting by Tiepolo from 1738.
The building has a central nave and two side aisles, visitable without obstacles; it has benches with kneelers. In the left aisle are: the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament preceded by a step (15 cm high) and the Chapel of Saint Angela Merici preceded by 3 steps (15 cm high). To access the main altar, you pass through 3 steps (15 cm high).
