It is possible to park on the blue lines along the walls and in Colle Aperto, where there are 3 parking spaces reserved for holders of disabled passes.

Entrance
Access to the archaeological museum, located in the Visconti Palace of the Cittadella, is through two consecutive doors: a manual double-leaf door (134 cm clear width) and an automatic double-leaf door (130 cm clear width) lead to the atrium.

Reception
In the atrium, you will find:

  • the infopoint (counter height 79 cm)
  • the ticket office (counter height 79 cm). 

Museum operators provide information and assistance.

Elevator
The elevator, located in the last room of the museum, has the following characteristics:

  • door width 83 cm, internal cabin space 80x120 cm
  • internal Braille and relief keypad (h 110 cm)
  • acoustic and visual signal of arrival at the floor
  • emergency bell (h 110 cm).

Exhibition path
The exhibition path develops on the ground floor in four rooms, which contain archaeological artifacts related to the origins of the city of Bergamo. A room located on the first floor can be reached via 15 consecutive steps (h 17 cm) or alternatively using the elevator. Along the exhibition path, there are seats (h 42 cm), and on the walls, there are informative and descriptive panels (h 100 cm) and showcases with artifacts (h 81 cm).

Orientation signage
In the building, directional arrows with large characters (at least 7 cm) and well-contrasted are found.

Toilets
The equipped toilet is located on the ground floor to the right of the ticket office and has the following characteristics:

  • anteroom with a swinging door width of 90 cm
  • suspended sink (frontal space 140 cm)
  • bathroom with a swinging door width of 90 cm
  • suspended sink (frontal space 149 cm)
  • floor-standing toilet (frontal space 150 cm, right side 126 cm, left side 37 cm, horizontal handle on the right side, handrail on the left side, and shower on the left side of the toilet).
  • Symbols of toilets, well-contrasted, at eye level, of medium-large size.

Emergency exits
Emergency routes are indicated. The alarm device is acoustic.
