Getting around
San Vittore Martire, built at the end of 1600, constitutes the religious heart of the community of Porlezza. The church is in Baroque style, as is the altar, although there are many neo-Renaissance elements. The imposing façade was built in 1840.
The church, with three naves, hosts interesting works of art. In the presbytery you can admire some frescoes depicting the episodes of the life of the Saint. The church has benches (seat height: 47 cm) with kneelers.

The central nave can be visited without obstacles. On the side aisles there are three chapels that can be reached by passing two steps (13 cm high each). The chapels have paintings and stuccos dating back to the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries; the altar is preceded by 3 steps (13 cm high each).
