Parking area
The church of San Carlo is in a pedestrian area, on a hill. It is possible to park in via Nazario Sauro, about 200 meters from the church, and follow an uphill path with mixed surface (asphalt in the first part and cobblestone in via Castellino da Castello). Alternatively, you can park in the centre of Menaggio; the pedestrian path to San Carlo, about 500 m.,  passes next to the church of Santo Stefano, then continues along via Leone Leoni and then  via Castellino da Castello (a slightly sloping cobblestone surface).

Entrance
The church square, paved in cobblestones in the central part and in gravel on the sides, can be reached by passing 4 steps (14 cm high each).
The entrance has 3 steps (13 cm high each) and a double leaf door (87 cm wide each).

Getting around
The church has a single nave and does not have obstacles. The main altar can be accessed by passing 3 steps (15 cm high each). The church has benches with kneelers (seat height: 44 cm).
On either side of the church there are two chapels with paintings by Giuseppe Vermiglio. In the church there are interesting seventeenth-century paintings.
