Interior spaces
Built at the end of the 1500s, the church has a unique octagonal room, with frescoed walls that create the optical illusion of a prospective increase of the dome. It houses 8 chapels and the famous tomb of Vespasiano Gonzaga, Duke of the city.
At the centre of the church there are pews with kneeling stools (seat h 46 cm); the sides are free of obstacles.
