Parking area
Palazzo Gallio, has a private parking area. From the parking area you reach the entrance of the building on a flat path partly asphalt and partly paved and  1 isolated step (10 cm high) and 9 consecutive steps (17 cm high each).
Alternatively, you can reach the building via a driveway (length 40 meters, slope of 4%) located on the right side of the parking area.

Entrance
Palazzo Gallio rises north of the town of Gravedona on a rocky promontory overlooking the lake. The building, which has three levels, has a square plan enclosed by four corner towers that give an imposing appearance to the complex.
From Via Regina, you can access the palace garden through a double leaf gate (112 cm wide each). A staircase of 11 consecutive steps (13 cm high each) leads to the loggia of the building or, alternatively, you can use the elevator.

Lift
The building has an elevator and a lift. The elevator, located on the left side of the entrance stairway, has the following characteristics:

• door width: 87 cm, internal cabin space 122x87 cm
• button to be hold: 76cm high above the floor

The lift is located on the right side of the porch and can be reached by passing through a double leaf door (58 cm wide each).
The lift, connecting the three floors (-1,0,1) of the building,  has the following characteristics:

• door width: 80 cm; space inside cabin: 106x133 cm
• horizontal panel (120 cm high above the floor)
• visual signal of arrival at the floor
• emergency bell (120 cm high above the floor).

Exhibition itinerary
The itinerary develops on the ground floor, on the -1 floor and in the garden of the building. On the first floor there are the offices of the mountain community "Valli del Lario e del Ceresio".
The ground floor is used for temporary exhibitions and events. From the loggia you can enter the large room, passing two consecutive double leaf doors (the first one is 68 cm wide each, the second one 87 cm wide each).
The room is furnished with chairs (seat height: 46 cm); on the stage at the back of the room there is a piano, and the stage can be reached after 2 consecutive steps (19 cm high each).
The -1 floor can be reached from the loggia through a stairway of 43 steps (15 cm high each) and a double leaf door (97 cm wide each). To enter the rooms, generally used for private events, you need to pass a double leaf door (93 cm wide each).  From floor - 1, through a double leaf door (64 cm wide each), you reach the garden and the terrace with its beautiful view of the lake.
The garden, consisting of terraces sloping down to the lake, can also be reached from the outside (right side of the building) through a bumpy paved path, made of grass and earth, followed by 37 consecutive steps (12 cm high each).

Orientation signage
In the building, there are directional arrows with high contrast and large lettering (at least 7 cm).

Toilet facilities
The equipped toilet is on  -1 floor and has the following features:

• vestibule with hinged door (91 cm wide)
• wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 180 cm)
• toilet with hinged door (80 cm wide)
• wall-mounted washbasin (clear space in front: 210 cm)
• floor-standing toilet (clear space: in front 210 cm, on the right side 70 cm, on the left side 236 cm, horizontal handlebar on the right-hand side)
• high contrast symbols indicating toilet facilities, positioned at eye level, using medium to large size letters.

Safety exits
Emergency routes are well indicated. The building has an acoustic alarm device.
