Parking
Cars can be parked free of charge on via Regina Teodolinda and on the blue lines on via Sant’Abbondio. There is a parking space reserved for people with permits for citizens with disability in via Sant’Abbondio (50 metres away).

Entrance
The main entrance has a threshold (h 3 cm), 2 steps (h 15 cm) and a double panelled door (each panel 82 cm wide). The side entrance from via Sant’Abbondio has a step (h 6 cm), double panelled door (each panel 80 cm wide), another step (h 6 cm) and a single panelled door (90 cm).

Interiors
The Basilica of Sant'Abbondio is located in a monastery built in mediaeval times, which currently houses the faculty of law of Insubria University. The central and lateral naves of the basilica are free of obstacles. The church has benches with kneeling stools and chairs (h 47 cm). To reach the altar, there is 1 step (h 18 cm), and there is a second step (h 16 cm) to gain access to the Sant’Abbondio cycle of frescoes.

Cloisters of the former Sant’Abbondio Seminary
The entrance to the cloisters of the former seminary, now part of the university, is to the left of the basilica, and is reached through a double panelled door (each panel 67 cm wide). There are 3 floors (0, 1 and 2), connected by 2 identical lifts at the two sides of the cloisters, with the following specifications:

  • door width 90 cm, space inside cabin 150 x 135 cm
  • internal pushbutton panel in Braille and relief (h 127 cm)
  • acoustic and visual signal on arrival at the floor
  • emergency alarm bell (h 113 cm).

Direction signs
The direction signs in the building are written in large, clearly visible characters (at least 7 cm).

Bathroom facilities
The equipped toilet are on the first floor, at the two sides of the cloisters.
The ladies' bathroom has the following specifications:

  • anteroom with 90 cm wide hinged door
  • bathroom with 90 cm wide hinged door
  • suspended washbasin (space in front 124 cm)
  • suspended WC (space in front 147 cm, 22 cm to the right and101 cm to the left, vertical handle to the left and handrail to the right of the WC)
  • clearly visible bathroom symbols at eye height, with medium to large characters.

The men's bathroom has the following specifications:

  • anteroom with 90 cm wide hinged door
  • suspended washbasin (space in front 117 cm)
  • bathroom with 90 cm wide hinged door
  • suspended washbasin (space in front 125 cm)
  • suspended WC (space in front 120 cm, 30 cm to the right and 114 cm to the left, vertical handle to the right and handrail throughout)
  • clearly visible bathroom symbols at eye height, with medium to large characters.
